This Sunday I was invited to run in a 4 hour kart race in Ocala Florida. David Minton, who is the brains behind this web site, needed a strong teammate for the Start Racing enduro so once again I got the call. The competition was tough as Skip Barber instructors Dean DiGiacomo and Rick DiIorio were on hand, as well as former Zip Racing crew members Dave Duetsch and Paul Baer. Jay de Marcken, the owner of the series also entered despite the Andy Evanesque conflict of interest, but thanks to the webmaster's mediocre driving we were able to beat all but one team in the 4 hour classic. Thanks Webbie for the year's first podium finish.
