2/6/05 A quick update from Daytona. After fighting for the lead with the #71 Porsche for over 18 hours the #36 TPC Porsche was hit from behind by a prototype near the pit entrance at 6:18am. The hit sent the car hard into the inside wall where it suffered heavy damage and was unable to continue. The car was running 2nd in class at the time, 1 1/2 laps behind the class leader.
