P6 24 laps down from P5
3/19/2005

Ya know, it may just be me and you, Lace, but, hey this is really what blogging is all about. I am enjoying this race and surfing for webtreasures muchly!! Isn't that a cool shot of Juha's (or more precisely, cool that we have ANY photo), and I did see the "nice" shot on speed of the tire shredding, bet that was fun.

3/19/2005

11:10 Race Time: #96 (Thompson) in P5 is behind wall, SP is 7 laps back from moving #34 into P5
3/19/2005

And 66 in P4 is lapping some 7 seconds slower than SP?
3/19/2005

And it looks like Andy is up now, cool. Hang around 'til the finish and hope for one good shot of luck!

Dare we hope for a podium? Remember, as M. Orgini said almost 50 yrs ago in Peter Ustinov's GP of Gibraltar, "...of course, ze others may LOSE!"
3/19/2005

Ah, well, 66 is still off pace, but #96 is back out and has a few lap cushion over Andy.

This is kinda fun. I know more about what is going on in the race than when I was there in person in '03!! But not one pic of the Hazardous Women!!! Wasssup w/that?
GO ZIP!

3/19/2005

Hey, Speed Channel shows Steve is driving!

Dear Zipsters,
Just bringing it home in one piece (thank God and duct tape!) is a great thing, and you all have climbed up 20 places!!! It has been great fun watching and webbing from the Berkshires.
3/19/2005

7 minutes to go, the Fat Lady hasn't sung yet, but I don't think the math will work, even though #96 is in trouble.

dlm, A lot of hard work but better than 03. With what we had at the start of the week, the end result was great. Not bad for an old girl { sweetness } and to be the 2nd fastest on the track for the last 3 hours, says a lot
