Justin Marks turned a 2:05.600 to get the top spot during a 15-minute qualifying session for the 45 Grand Sport entries. Race Prep Motorsports' weekend went from bad to good after Spencer Pumpelly qualified second in the No. 18 Porsche 996. His time of 2:06.050 was significantly slower than the BMW's, but still two-tenths of a second faster than the third-quickest GS car. The downside of Race Prep Motorsports' weekend occurred yesterday, when a crash for their No. 28 Porsche brought the first practice to a halt. The Three Stooges(Lace, Stain and Jonesy!) 6/18/2005 Keeping us in the dark???? 6/19/2005 Sorry. I have been away from an internet connection the past few days. Mechanical problems sidelined both cars last weekend so our strong start ended in disapointment for all the guys. Next race is in a week at Daytona. Spencer 6/21/2005 Apology accepted! Good to hear from you! all the best in every way in Daytona! It's TIME! 6/22/2005 Hi Spencer, We saw the broadcast of your Cup race @ W-G--nice pass on the last lap to take P5. Were you following Darren Law, or did they get you confused with him? That was one of those times it would have been nice to have TiVo, but alas... Anyway, it was reminiscent of Michael Schumacher's controversial pass earlier this year (was it the European GP?). Best of luck @ Daytona from your friends in Richmond. 6/28/2005 | ||
