After a crazy day of racing the #49 Marcus Motorsports car, sponsored by Porsche of Lexington, TGB Scooters and Cobra Powersports, took home a third place podium finish. The day started off rainy, and with a large field of cars the race only saw 12 green laps. But the end result for the team was great. "It was an excellent finish for a team new to the Grand-Am Cup Series," says Pumpelly. He was very proud of the effort by everyone on the team and his co-driver Andy Lally. Spencer was also pleased with his TPC team car's third place finish in the Rolex race. "All the guys at TPC did a great job." "It was unfortunate that both cars could not race but we are looking forward to Laguna." The next races are scheduled for May 5th and 6th at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
